Sing praise to the Lord with the harp,
with the harp and melodious song.
~ Psalm 98:5

Lauren Mary Longo, a performing and recording artist on Celtic Harp in the North Jersey /NYC area, created an original harp arrangement of an ancient Marian chant, Hail, Queen of Heaven, for Our Lady of Tenderness Hermitage. You can listen below to her beautiful arrangement.

She has also prayerfully created 5 CDs of peaceful harp music. The sale of Lauren's harp music contributes support towards my eremitic call.

Hail, Queen of Heaven

is an ancient 12th century Marian chant. It is traditionally said or sung from the Feast of the Presentation (February 2nd) through Holy Week.

It is an extreme delight to share an original arrangement of this lovely chant. This composition was "prayed into being" by Lauren Mary Longo for the singular purpose of Our Lady of Tenderness Hermitage ... to love Mary.

As you listen to harp and voice, may Mary, Mother of Peace and Inexpressible Trust, magnetize you by the beauty of her contemplative presence; may she assist you in opening the door of your still heart to her Son, Jesus.

Hail, O Queen of Heaven.
Hail, O Lady of Angels
Hail! thou root, hail! thou gate
From whom unto the world,
a light has arisen:

Rejoice, O glorious Virgin,
Lovely beyond all others,
Farewell, most beautiful maiden,
And pray for us to Christ.

Ave, Regina caelorum,
Ave, Domina Angelorum:
Salve, radix, salve, porta,
Ex qua mundo lux est orta:

Gaude, Virgo gloriosa,
Super omnes speciosa,
Vale, o valde decora,
Et pro nobis Christum exora.

Our Lady of Tenderness, pray for us!
